When my son wanted to have a Thomas the Tank Engine birthday party my wife and I had to go in search for all sorts of Thomas the Train party supplies. Like all birthday parties for little kids, there is a lot to think about and prepare for. My wife always enjoys making the birthday cake herself, and she did the same in this case. However, she wanted to look for a Thomas the Tank Engine cake topper. Fortunately there were plenty available. We could choose anything from a simple carnival background to an all-out birthday cake topper featuring a bridge and tunnel. A really cool thing about all of the toppers we looked at was that they all came with an actual Thomas. Some came with railcars as well.
For the Thomas the Tank Engine cups it wasn't all that tough of a decision. We had to choose between small paper cups, large plastic cups, or some train-shaped cups with straws that aren't quite Thomas, but they resemble him enough that you could get by with them. We ended up going with the large plastic cups because they seemed more durable and the kids could take them home with them as party favors.
